Mr. Price's Science Site
One of my undergraduate degrees is in chemistry and I REALLY love the stuff! I have been teaching science and math for the past 15 years and am currently a science teacher at Eureka High School teaching chemistry and physics. Before taking this position I was a lecturer with the chemistry department at Humboldt State University for eight years, an associate faculty with the chemistry department at College of the Redwoods for five years, and a high school chemistry, physics, and math teacher for seven years. I worked for the California Department of Education for four years training high school teachers in holistic evaluation and authentic assessment techniques. My undergraduate research included a study of the alarm pheromone in the ant Formica Obscuripies.
Please feel free to e-mail me about anything you feel is relevant. This includes science questions, student progress, ideas for this web page, or just because you want to say hello.
